Car Won't Start Even After New Battery
The car has a new battery. Also, your battery could be internally shorted which will really cut the amount of juice actually getting to the starter and such, and will never let it build even a partial charge.

Just making a few assumptions here but i assume your car would not start even though the engine was being physically cranked over by the starter. A strained start is often the sign of a dying starter solenoid. Reconnect the cables to the battery.
